KL Woodturners  TBC

Woodturning is a form of woodworking that is used to create wooden objects on a lathe. Woodturning differs from wood-turning-sa14-1most other forms of woodworking in that the wood is moving while a stationary tool is used to cut and shape it. Many intricate shapes and designs can be made by turning wood. Richard Rood and his team will be with us to show you how it’s done.

Upholstery is the work of providing furniture, especially seats, with padding, springs, webbing, and fabric or leather covers. The word upholstery comes from the Middle English word upholder, which referred to a tradesman who held up his goods. Our upholsterers will be demonstrating the giant-knitting-bo14-copyart at Hyde End
